VENUE

The Conference will be held in Rome at the CNR Headquarter, Piazzale Aldo Moro 7, where attendees have to leave a document to have a pass. The Conference room (Aula Marconi) is located at the first floor. The entrance to reach the room for the MC Meeting and WG Meetings (Aula Giacomello) is on Via dei Ramni, 19-21.

ACCOMODATION


The meeting participants are asked to take responsibility for their own accommodation. The reimbursement of accommodation expenses is based on flat rates only for an amount of up to a maximum of EUR 120 per person per night.

REGISTRATION 


Registration for Action participants will be made through the e-COST system. Participants will be invited by Giuseppina Rea (Chair) and Maya D. Lambreva (Grant Holder). An individual invitation letter is automatically generated and send through e-mails generated by the system itself. If you are new to e-COST, you have to register a new e-COST profile on the following link: https://e-services.cost.eu. Then recipients will have to accept/decline the invitation. By accepting the invitation, you confirm that you accept the set of COST Rules as approved by the COST CSO and described in the COST Vademecum. Please consult the Travel Reimbursement Instructions (here) before to organize your trip.

BY PLANE

From Fiumicino Airport to Rome and backwards:
By direct train (14 euro, time 35 minutes)
 Go to Fiumicino Air Terminal (FS Trenitalia)
 Take the Direct Train "Leonardo Express" every 30 minutes
 Get off at Roma Termini Railway Station
 See below for connections between Termini Station to the CNR (piazzale Aldo Moro 7)
By local train (8 euro, time 45 minutes)
 Go to Fiumicino Air Terminal (FS Trenitalia)
 Take the trains FL1 connecting Fiumicino Aeroporto to Fara Sabina/Orte, 8 stops, every 15 min
 Get off at Tiburtina Station

BY BUS
 Take Terravision Bus FCO ↔Termini
 Fiumicino Airport: outside Terminal 3, bus parking n. 3
 From Termini Station to the CNR (piazzale Aldo Moro 7) see below for connections
From Ciampino Airport to Rome and backwards:
 "Terravision" Bus to via Marsala (Termini Station) 8 euro. Time: 40 minutes
 Bus to Ciampino Railway Station + Train to Termini Station. Every 20 minutes. Time: 18 minutes
 "Co.tra.l." line bus to Subway (Metro) Station Anagnina + Metro Line A from Anagnina to Termini Station.


BY TRAIN
Most Italian and European destinations are connected to Rome by trains stopping at Termini Station or Tiburtina Station, which are 15 and 25 minutes’ walking, respectively, from the CNR.

From Termini Station by bus
 Take the 310 bus line (Vescovio) for 4 stops every 10 min. about;
 Get off at Viale dell'Università;
 Walk back behind 15 meters;
 Go on the left to viale delle Scienze walk 300 meters until the arrival Aldo Moro (square), 7.
From Tiburtina Station by bus
 Take the 71 (S. Silvestro) or 492 (staz.ne metro Cipro) bus lines for 6 stops every 10 min. about;
 Get off at Via Marrucini;
 Walk back behind 100 meters;
 Until the arrival Aldo Moro (square), 7.



Participants may be eligible for reimbursement of their travel/accomodation/subsistence expenses, under the standard COST guidelines.
